Obituary of Wyatt Jeffrey John Adrian

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wyatt Adrian, age 18, of Airdrie, AB, on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Wyatt was born on December 14, 2004 in Yorkton, SK.


Wyatt was a Grade 12 student at Bert Church High School and was looking forward to attending SAIT in the fall to pursue his dream of becoming a Heavy Duty Mechanic. He earned a Sergeant Rank in the 88 Airdrie Lynx Royal Canadian Air Cadets from 2017-2022 and was awarded Most Promising Cadet in 2017-2018. Throughout his cadet career, he attended multiple summer training courses and most recently, this past summer, he worked in Operations on Cold Lake Air Force Base.


Wyatt was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed go karting, playing video games, building Lego and BMX racing. He loved being with his troops and was applying to join the Reserves as a Recon Scout, from a young age he was determined to serve for his country. He also enjoyed family trips to automobile and plane museums every February break. His most memorable vacations were camping at Silverwood and trips to Disney and Universal Studios.


Wyatt is survived by his parents, Jeff and Crystal Adrian of Airdrie, AB; his sister Shelby of Airdrie, AB; his grandparents, Edith Currall of Raymore, SK, and Warren and Connie Adrian of Saskatoon, SK; multiple great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his two cats, Katie and Piper. Wyatt was predeceased by his grandfather Larry Currall and his cat Copper.


Wyatt will be most remembered for his sarcasm and hugs.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. If you are attending, we request you dress casual, jeans and hoodies were his favorite.
