Mrs Rowland Deb, Danny and family,
So sorry to learn of your Dad's passing, I didn't know him well but I do remember there was always lot of laughter and good times at your house when we were growing up. Wishing you comfort and peace at this sad time.

Our sincere sympathy Colleen. Though we didn’t know Roy well, we know he was a good man and a great neighbour. Hoping you find comfort with your many friends and dear family.

My sincere sympathy and condolences to you Colleen, your wonderful family and many friends. It was a privilege to know such a gentle, honest, kind, loving man.
Our brother/sister get togethers are special fun memories. Also, golfing at Sylvan-Roy’s accuracy and judgment-using an iron on his approach shot - Then that little grin if the ball went according to plan! The lunch and visits back at the motor home, then maybe another round.
Hospitable, personable, generous with his time and love, he will be missed. Rest in paradise with eternal love. Matt: 5-4
I am so sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. My condolences to his family and friends. Roy was our foreman on the distribution crew and my mentor with Transalta in High River from 1980 until his retirement. He taught us “young’uns” many tricks of the trade and never missed a day of work commuting to High River daily. I was honoured to be asked to be the MC at his retirement. RIP Roy.
You will be greatly missed by many Great Grandpa. I remember going to your house to hangout with you and Great Grandma and always having a blast when I was a little girl. I always looked forward to seeing you and I will miss you so much. I hope you and Grandpa Randy are together wherever you are ❤️
This is a sad time for the family of Roylance Rowland but because of this loving, wise and peaceful and great fun loving soul there are many happy memories and great family times to recall all through the coming years. Without a doubt Roy dearly loved all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and found great joy in family gatherings which will provide great rememberances for all of those precious and dear ones who Roy and Colleen have gifted to family and friends.
Loved Roy’s wry smile, sense of humour, looking deep into my eyes and firm handshake. Roy will be deeply missed by all of us at church. It would be great to have a plaque with Roy and Colleen’s name put on the back bench.
One of the greatest gifts he gave to all of his children was the massive priority family was; for example at Christmas everyone moved in and spent (at least) Christmas week together. I loved how all of the siblings loved one another…this family shone very bright under his tutelage. My condolences to all the Rowland family and extended family.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Hugs to all the Rowland and extended family members.
Thinking of you at this time. Murray & Pat Brennan
I had the great privilege to meet Roy & Colleen at Christmas time where they were surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Roy was the strong, gentle and kind Center of all the festivities. I instantly felt the love and tenderness he felt for his entire family and they for him.
I was fortunate enough to have a couple of great one on one chats with Roy. I won’t forget the story he shared of his one and only experience riding a bucking horse. I only wish I had known him longer and gotten to hear more of his stories. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful right to the very end.
Roy & Colleen’s beautiful family will no doubt carry on his legacy and their partners, friends and acquaintances will be lucky for it.
My deepest condolences to Roy’s entire family.
