Obituary of Kathy Lynne Kruger

Kathy Kruger, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 67 years.

Kathy was born in Hodgeville, SK, on August 1, 1955. In 1956, when she was eight months old, she moved with her parents to Calgary, AB.

Kathy graduated from James Fowler High School in Calgary, AB, and went on to have a successful 35-year career working for the Government of Canada in the department then known as Customs and Excise.

Kathy strongly believed in giving and she generously made donations to a wide variety of charities and foundations over the years. She will be most remembered for her generosity as well as her love of animals.

Kathy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Mike, as well as numerous cousins, and friends.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Moot and Lorraine Kruger, as well as her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and several cousins.

A funeral service for Kathy will be held at Foothills Lutheran Church (3104 - 34 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB), on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
