Martin Losing, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the age of 55 years.

 

Martin was born in Coronation, AB, on June 21, 1967 to Karl and Maureen Losing. He had many hobbies including his love for Latin dancing, woodworking and cooking. He was an animal lover and was always willing to babysit pets, be it cat, dog or fish. Martin had a keen interest in history, loved to read and watch movies. 

 

Martin’s most memorable vacations were his vacation to Belfast to visit his grandmother and in 2018 when he vacationed in the Cayman Islands. He will be most remembered for his generosity, sense of humour and infectious laugh.

 

Martin is survived by his sister Eileen Losing (Cayman Islands), niece Cathy Losing-Ible (Chris Ible) of Millet, AB, nephew Jason Losing  of Grande Prairie, AB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Martin was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Maureen, sister, Mary, and brothers, Brendan and Kevin. He will be laid to rest in the family plot in the Coronation cemetery at a later date.
