Obituary of Sandy Reilly

March 2, 1948 - February 11, 2023

Sandra Reilly (nee Clark) of Allan, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

A devoted mother & Nana, she was a great listener, a woman of action and she cared deeply for her family and friends.  She loved all animals and was known for her ability to care for them, not giving up easily, nursing many back to health.  She was an avid horsewoman who was once crowned Stampede Queen and had many tales of horse adventures, a great source of smiles and hilarity. She loved working on her farm, working with her neighbours and taking in animals who needed care, especially fostering motherless calves who needed someone to raise them right.

Sandy is survived by her son, Tim Reilly (wife Arlee) and daughter Dawna Delainey (husband David).  She has three grandchildren whom she cherished: Sanda, Sam and Samuel (and a great-grandchild on the way). 

Sandy is also survived by her mom, Jean, and two brothers, Danny and David, as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  We know that she is enjoying the reunion with her Dad (Jack) and her brother Bill.

The family sends deep appreciation to all the medical professionals involved, especially the team at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary and the Home Care Team from Cochrane.  She is at peace now, in the arms of Jesus.
