Taron Heavy Runner Pascoe of Tsuut’ina Nation and the Blood Tribe, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the age of 26 years.

 

Taron is survived by his mother Cheryl Big Plume of Tsuut’ina, his father Bruce Mistaken Chief of the Blood Tribe, his grandparents, Joan Big Plume and Gordon Pascoe; grandma Pearl Heavy Runner;  Phis daughters, Tamika and Empriss; siblings, Ashley Big Plume (Richard), Sunshine Mistaken Chief, Aasootahkii Big Plume (Hope), and Trey Heavy Runner Pascoe; nieces and nephews, Dreden, Briseis, Joseph, Madison, Lexie, Lawrence, Brodi-Doll, Keyonna, Malone,  Baby Ash, and Amari; special aunt, Charlotte Heavy Runner; special and Patsy; and his rotten babies, Tandy, Rocket, Avalanche, and Musquaw. He is also survived by the numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from Tsuut’ina Nation and Blood Tribe. 

 

Taron was predeceased by his birth mother Charmaine Heavy Runner Pascoe, grandparents, Elsie and Stephen Mistaken Chief and great-grandparents, Chief Dick and Lucy Big Plume; his sister SkyDove Mistaken Chief, his brother Frank Big Plume, uncles, Jeremy Big Plume and Clayton Big Plume.

 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Cheryl Big Plume Tsuut’ina Nation, AB, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 and Thursday, February 16, 2023.

 

Funeral Services will be held at Bullhead Hall, 114 Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery.  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.

 

In living memory of Taron Heavy Runner Pascoe, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area.
