Obituary of Amelia ULMER

Amelia Ulmer of Calgary passed away peacefully with her beloved husband Martin by her side, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Amelia was born October 7, 1939 in Pine River, Manitoba. She married Martin Ulmer on January 22, 1981 and in 1982 moved to Calgary. Amelia had a great passion for gardening. She loved flowers and especially springtime when she could plan her garden and landscaping. Amelia also loved to be in the company of her family and friends, she was a very social and caring person who would always make time to visit friends in need. Amelia is survived by her loving husband, Martin; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Donna Keck, Terry and Tannis Keck and Dwayne Keck; daughter, Candace Keck; grandchildren, Willem and Donalda; Sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Farrell and Marlene and Randy Telfer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mitchel and Adele, Morris and Sally and Marvin Chornoby as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Steven and Stella Chornoby and her brother-in-law, Russ Farrell. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Lutheran Church of the Cross at 10620 Elbow Drive SE,Calgary, AB. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
