Obituary of Ireneusz BLAZEJOWSKI

Mr. Ireneusz (Irek) Blazejowski, beloved husband of Elzbieta of Calgary, passed away peacefully at Agape Hospice on October 5, 2013 at the age of 79 years. He was surrounded by his wife of 58 years and his children. Irek was known for his kindness, good humor, and ability to enjoy life. Irek was born in Poland and worked as a master engineer in a steel mill. After retirement, Irek and his wife moved to Canada to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. Irek is survived by his wife Elzbieta, son Jurek, daughter Jola, son-in-law Darek, and grandchildren Kamila with husband Darek, Beata, Philip, Peter, Paul with girlfriend Miruna, and great-granddaughter Gabrysia. We will miss him forever. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 4 p.m.
