Obituary of Maureen Louise McCANN

Maureen McCann "Moe" beloved wife of Stu McCann of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 67 years. A native Calgarian, Maureen enjoyed everything Calgary had to offer; the Parade, Rodeo, the Chucks, Stampeders and Flames. She was quick with a joke and quick to laugh. She loved her pets, Sweetie Pie and Joey. Maureen volunteered for many years with Al-Anon and the Girl Guides. Everyone she came into contact with became a very special person to her and she became a very special person to them. Maureen is survived by her husband of 28 years, "Stu"; daughter, Erin McCann and son-in-law, Jason Lefevre; grandchildren Gabrielle, Quintin, Kaitlin and Cameron. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Kathleen Lee. A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to a charity of the donor's choice.
