Obituary of Balwant Kaur DHAMI

Balwant Kaur Dhami, beloved wife of the late Major Gulzara Singh, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice on November 22, 2012 at the age of 98 years. Balwant was raised in Hoshiapur District, Punjab, India. She moved to Canada in 1989 and lived with her daughter Rajinder and her family. Balwant enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading in her favourite chair by the window. We will all certainly miss her smile, laughter and positive outlook. She will be sadly missed by her brother, Iqbal (Gurdev); her daughter Rajinder (Dalel); her son Sartaj (Rupjinder); her five grandchildren Nishi, Dave, Raj, Neeti and Preeti; and five great-grandchildren Deyson, Zorawar, Arjen, Saryn and Saryssa.
