Doug, Dave and the entire Lamont family,
It is with true sadness to hear of the passing of your father, friend and mentor.
Although I did not know him for long it only took my first meeting to cement a lasting fond memory. I appreciated his straightforward approach to matters and always understanding others too.
He and Pat were both people that made lasting memories for us all.
May you relish the time spent with both and the lasting memories they have you all.
With warmest regards,
Bill (Hutch)

So sorry to hear of Clark’s passing…… I knew him back in the early Union Oil days and more recently with The Super Save Group and Western Refrigeration. He was a really great person to work with and a great person to have fun with.. He will be missed . My sincere condolences to all !!
Dear Dave, Doug, and Molly,
please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. Clarke was so proud of you all. I loved your parents so much. They made me, and likely everyone they met, feel special. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Clarke will be deeply missed.
Dear Dave & Doug,
It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of your Dad. I will like to send my sincere condolences to both of you and your extended family.
My parents informed me of this very sad news last night at my son’s hockey game. I was very fortunate to have your dad as my hockey coach when my family first moved to Calgary back in 1980 – and having Dave as a teammate and friend when I was new to the Bonavista community looking back, was pretty cool. I have fond memories of your dad as our coach and always being very generous and giving each player on the team brand new Northland hockey sticks!!! and unlimited access to hockey tape!!
Your Dad was a very genuine and sincere person that has left lasting impressions with many people in this world and I was fortunate to have him as one of my mentors as a young person.
Wishing you both strength in this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Bryan Miller
Doug and Dave, sending much love to you both. I have such kind, fun memories of you both and your parents from when we were little. We lost our mom on Mother’s Day this year. It’s lonely with both parents gone. Glad you had a loving life with your folks. On behalf of Joe and me, thinking of you as you adjust to this new reality.
Mark galea and on behalf of George Zafir would like to send our condolences to the family. Many memories remembered from the years created by the the business relationship turned into an interesting friendship . A great respect was built for each other and that can never be taken away
He was a pleasure to have known
May he find peace
Although I only knew Clarke for a few years, they are very memorable. It was always a pleasure when he visited the dealership, his enthusiasm and positive attitude were contagious. He always had a kind word, always very empathetic, and just made me feel good. He loved talking about cars, as I do. He always brightened my day. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with Dave and the rest of the family. I know how much he meant to them! RIP, Clarke.
Doug, please know my heart and prayers go out to you and your family at the passing of your father. Cherish the memories and his passions
Doug,
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Doug and Dave:
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad.
I met Clarke back in 1984 at General Refrigeration. As a newbie to the industry, he was one of the few people that took the time to welcome me and mentor me – always a smile, great personal and professional advice, and always made time to include a social side to the business.
He welcomed me into his business and his home. Both your Mother and Father always made time to spend time with me no matter where we were.
Clarke was one of those few people you meet in your life that makes you smile inside every time you think about them. No matter how much time passed between seeing each other, it was like we were never apart – lots of laughs, camaraderie, business, and friendship. He definitely left his mark in a good way – he will be sadly missed.
“The beauty of a memory is that it is always there, like a penny in a pocket, we can take it anywhere”.
My memories of Clarke are over the years at U. Of Montana, fishing in Alaska, bird hunting in Alberta, being in his wedding, and visiting each year in Scottsdale and Calgary.
All our best to Doug and David. May your “sweet memories last a lifetime”.

To the Lamont family,
It is with a heavy heart that we learned of Clarke’s passing. As part of his “Montana Family,” we all have so many fond memories of Clarke and Pat. From our trips to Calgary for hockey games, to Homecoming gatherings in Missoula, to visits in the Phoenix area. Clarke and Pat were wonderful, kind and very generous people… We share in your sorrows, but also feel very fortunate to have spent precious time with these special friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Our sincere condolences on the passing of Clarke. I met Clarke and Pat through the Alumni Board at the University of Montana, and considered both of them to be treasured friends. We had many great times at the U of M at homecoming over the years. They also hosted us to Flames games as well as Dave Dickenson’s first start as a QB for the Stampede. I’m not sure I know of kinder or more generous people. Condolences to all of the Lamont family from your friends in Butte Mt.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Clarke. Lost touch with Pat and Clarke many years ago, but have and always will remember them both. Our thoughts and prayers to his sons and other family members. He was a great guy for sure and lots of fun to be around. Good memories of both Clarke and Pat. Sharon and Henry Epp
We all have wonderful memories of Pat and Clarke.
Doug and David you had the “Best” parents, so sorry for your loss.
They are together now.
Clarke was a very special guy, very honoured to have known him.

To Doug & Dave,
I’m saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Clarke had a big impression on me growing up. He was such a character. He was hilarious. To this day, every time I’m in a boat…”Ship to shore, Pat honey! Ship to shore!”. I miss your lovely parents a lot & wish the best for you guys. Love from Mike & Leigh in Vancouver.
One of a kind and a man that made it all work. Clarke’s positive attitude and can-do determination were incredible. A friend was forever and his family came first. Followed closely by the Montana Grizzlies. Warm fall afternoons enjoying Griz football and rounds of golf. Stock’s Bar on Thursday before Homecoming. Mansion for dinner and later Caffe Dolce. Rare was the moment you did not know where you stood with Clarke. Making you feel special was his specialty. Pat’s specialty too.
George Dennison loved it when Clarke arranged a limo to pick us up at the airport. Limo had small flags that suggested the passengers were diplomats. Visiting Calgary from Montana yes but only two in the car qualified as diplomats. Clarke and George.
There are so many memories. Hockey, the Calgary Flames mascot joining our wine and beer party, Calgary’s Montana golf tournament, the Jeep raffle and so many more.
Blessed are the family and friends of Clarke and Pat Lamont. We miss them but we were fortunate to have them as part of our lives. Condolences to Dave, Doug and family.
