Obituary of Tehal Singh PARHAR

Tehal Singh Parhar beloved husband of Sawarn Kaur Parhar, passed away on December 16, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Born in a village of Kalra in India, Tehal Singh Parhar completed his education from Kalra before joining the military. Tehal's passion was to dedicate his life to supporting his community where he worked hard to subsidize medical programs, heavily influence the education programs and acted as president of political parties in India. He immigrated to Canada in July of 1987 with his wife, where they continued to enjoy their 71 years of marriage. He also continued his role as a mentor for many and was widely known for his generosity and kind soul. He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
