Condolences
All the best to you Ray on your journey. Gone but never fogotten. Good Luck it was my pleasure to meet you in 1967. hutch
Ray and Bea Wickens were two of our oldest friends. We met them both in Drayton Valley in 1962 when Grant joined Mobil Oil and we have been friends ever since. We are sorry that Ray didn't want a "celebration" of his life, because he had many friends who wanted to say good-bye and to wish his family well. We will all miss him and Bea. All our love to the family and especially to Debbie, Jim, Bob and Jeff.
To the Wickens family: Our favourite memories of Ray - his love and support for your dear Mom - his gracious manner - his keen interest in everyone he met - his perseverance in golfing and employment at Mobil With love & sympathy Del & Michael
Our condolences to the Wilkens family. Remembering Bea & Ray, brings back 40 years of fond & enjoyable memories. We would like to extend our sincere sympathies. Murray & Irene
I am so sorry for you loss. He was an amazing man and one of my favourite people to spend time with.
Ray was a very good bridge player. He was also a good communicator (which may explain why Ray was the only Mobil geologist to serve his company from an office in Ottawa). I have no doubt that all Mobil employees that served under, and with, Ray in Drayton Valley appreciated his thoughtfulness, his compassion, and his leadership. The Mocana Bridege Club has lost a friend.
