Condolences
Life is busy and when we hear of loss, we are compelled to take time to reminisce of times gone by. Both Laverne and Olga were kind and leave behind very fond memories such as it be to an extended family member. Like most, I will miss them both. My heartfelt condolences. Terry Paskal and Family
Our condolences to the whole Droppo family from the Johnson family (Royalties)Alan, Vivian, Harold, and Bill. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family
I was playing a round of golf at Turner Valley this summer, and my thoughts constantly turned to Laverne. I was a good friend of his son Mike, and Laverne took us out to TV for countless games when we were teenagers. A kind, thoughtful, gentle soul. I miss him.
Ray Thompson and family send their condolences to the family of Laverne Droppo. Dad always enjoyed the golf and card games with Laverne. He will be missed by Ray.
My condolences to the Droppo family on Vern's passing. He was a good friend and neighbor in Meadowlark Park in the "olden" days. He was a good guy and he will be missed. Sincerely, Bob Sumner
I had the pleasure of knowing Verne through being a landman, he was always a very nice and friendly person and associate. My condolences to the family Bob McKenna (retired landman)
To the Droppo family, I worked with your Dad at Truck Line/Nova back in the 80's and 90's as a landman. Even though I was the first female landman at Truck Line, Vern always supported the big change in the land dept and me. I remember working with Vern, Carden Weir, Del and Spear Shallom, Gary Cook, Lorraine Krause and Lance Montpetit and Miles McCall as our boss. We had many land parties with the negotiation group, house warmings and any excuse to get together. Your mom and dad were a big part of it and enjoyed the group friendship. We will be leaving for Mexico for our daughters wedding so will miss the service, but am sending my thoughts to you all to know your Dad was admired as a fellow employee. Nancy Schmautz, Okotoks
Laverne you will be missed but you are in a much better place.
