Obituary of Gurdial Kaur BRAICH

Gurdial Kaur Braich, wife of Dal S. Braich of Braich Sujapur, India, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2011 at the Foothills Medical Centre surrounded by her family at the age of 91years. Gurdial Kaur was born in the village of Beniwal in Punjab, India. Gurdial Kaur had an ever-present sense of humour and a perpetual smile. She was a hard worker; at a young age she took the responsibility for raising her siblings when her mother passed away. She was a mother figure to her siblings and her grandchildren. Gurdial Kaur was predeceased by her son Baljinder S. Braich, daughter Tirath K. Kaler; brother Gurdail S. Sidhu, and Lal S. Sidhu. She will be sadly missed by her sister Gurdev Kaur Tung; her sons and daughters-in-law Satnam S. Braich and Kuldeep, and Satpal S. Braich and Kalwant; her daughters and son-in-laws Jasmail K. Mann and Bhupinder, Amarjeet K. Gill and Charanjeet; Ravijot K. Kaler and Paramjit; Mandhir K. Kahlon and Balwinder; Balwinder K. Gill and Beant; her 25 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services was held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4th Street N.W., on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with prayers following at Dashmesh Culture Centre Gurdwara.
