Obituary of Kartar Kaur GILL

Kartar Kaur Gill, wife of the late S. Mahla Singh Gill of Nathuwala Jadid, India, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Foothills Medical Centre surrounded by her family at the age of 89 years. Kartar Kaur was born in the village of Ajitwal in Punjab, India. She was a strong, loving and caring woman who unselfishly dedicated her life to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Mukhtiar K. Kler and Sukhdial K. Gill; her sons and daughters-in-law Charanjeet S. Gill and Amarjit, Gurmit S. Gill and Parmjit, and Jagdev S. Gill and Harman; her daughters and son-in-law Kuldip K. Sangha and Balwinder S., and Manjit K. Grewal; her grandchildren Amandip Badyal and husband Mandeep, Gagandeep Sangha, Sukhdeep Gill, Jasraj Sangha, Manpreet Gill, Vanraj Grewal, Navjind Grewal, Harmeet Gill, Anurag Grewal, Rajdeep Gill and Mehtab Gill; her extended family; her friends and the many others she touched in her life. Kartar Kaur was predeceased by her brothers Bachan S. Sumal and Kartar S. Sumal; her sister Kulwant K. Dhaliwal; and her son-in-law Sukhwant S. Grewal. Funeral Services were held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4th Street N.W., on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., with prayers following at Dashmesh Culture Centre Gurdwara.
