Obituary of Amy Bell WALKER

Amy Walker of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Amy was born in Nobleford, Alberta on April 26, 1929. She married Raymond Walker in June of 1968 and they made their home in Calgary. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, often sewing clothes for her family. She also enjoyed crafts and collectables, and most of all she especially loved to play bingo with her friends. Amy is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda (Rick) Brost; step sons, Dale (Marilyn) Walker, Randall (Hazel) Walker and Les (Gail) Walker; grandchildren, Darryl Brost, Blair Trimblett, Jason (Angela)Walker, Amanda (Steven) Fillinger, Jeff Walker, Amber (James) Campbell, Chantale (Steve) Walker, and Kayton Walker; great grandchildren, Kiandra, Daymond, Evert, Lucas, Owen and Adele; sisters-in-law, Roberta and Lucille as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Walker (2002), mother, Janie Borggard and three brothers, Harold (Edith), Clarence and Donald. Those wishing to pay their respects were able to do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Friday, December 31, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Queens Park Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in Lethbridge, Alberta at a later date.
