Condolences
Blaine and i worked together at Klippert concrete in the early 1980s.Blaine was one person i have always remembered dearly, and i know we would have become even greater friends if i would not have moved back to newfoundland in 1986.I have thought of him many times since and with this new age of computers i hoped to reunite and say hello.I am sorry to hear of his passing and my condolences to all his family.
I just learned of Blaine's passing now, and am so sorry to hear it. I used to work at a small kiosk at Market Mall, and Blaine used to come by nearly every day to say hello on his daily strolls around the mall for exercise. He used to have the best stories about his wife and kids, and life as a trucker. I'm sure that he is missed dearly by his family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and such a kind spirit.
As you reflect back and remember the 58 years that you shared with your husband, know that there is a flicker of his light that still shines within you, as sure as this candle burns bright. May god pour out his blessings to you and your family at this time. All the best to a very special lady - Bonnie
Dear Gladys, Words can't express how much you mean to me & how sorry I am for your loss. I'm still having a hard time believing that Blaine is gone. I will miss my visits with him when I was visiting you. I'll miss him coming into your little room while we're stitching & him saying, "It's so quiet in here, I thought you girls had gone" or "I thought I'd check on you since it's so quiet". He always had a great story to tell & I enjoyed his sense of humour. He had us laughing often. I'm sure you know that I'm here for you. If you need anything or just need to talk, all you have to do is call. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you & your family. Love - Rena
