My condolences to the family. It was an honour to serve my friend Sydney for several years and share our July 10 birthday greetings.
To all the family my sincere condolences. Although I have lost touch over the years living so far away, I will always remember Sydney as being kind, generous and never dull. All the best, John, Anna and Veronika
Susan, My condolences. It's the end of an era, and that has to be difficult. But your mother left a great wake behind her as she lived, and for that her memory will live on through the people she touched. Jackie and I will be thinking about you. Bill
We were most fortunate to make, Sydney's acquaintance through her neice, Leslie Davis and her sister, Sheila. She was indeed a, "classy lady" with much style, wit and charm. What a wonderful life well lived! Blessings to her family. Martha Page Kenn Hollingsworth
Victoria - my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. You know in your heart how much she loved you and the girls (Kenzie and Haylee). I send you a big hug for the hard days ahead when your memories of fun and love will get you through. xo Kim
Victoria, My dearest sympathies to you and your family. Our hearts are with you and we are all thinking of you. Your mother sounds like she was a wonderful person and being your mother if she is at all like you she would have been a great person to have known..big hugs to you and your family!!
Jim and family, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother - a great life story. I am sending positive thoughts your way. Mark
To my dear friend Susan and her family. Your Mom was a star in my life! I will miss her dearly. Sydney helped me to settle into Calgary when I moved there alone in 2000. We golfed, ate great meals and shared a highball or two,(mostly at the 'country club'). Always feisty and fashionable, she Sydney chuckled when I referred to her as "Quite the old broad". I have many fond memories of Sydney, in particular my last visit with her earlier this year! My sincere sympathy.
Syndey - what a gem! You could connect with anyone regardless of age. You were blessed with a wonderful family and many, many dear friends throughout your life. I'll miss you very much!
I am sorry to the family for their loss. I only met your mom once but she had such a presence! I was also very sad to learn that your sister Alix passed away in 2003. Alix was a dear friend but we lost touch over the years. Alix was such a warm and trusting person and yet one wished to protect her as she seemed somehow too fragile for this world. I miss her.
