Condolences
Lost track of Sy after he left Sarcee Care Centre (he used to request milkshakes). Just found his obit on Google recently. He used to volunteer with this agency when we/he lived in King Tower. He used to come downstairs to get me to clean his glasses....I think he just wanted someone to talk to. He loved to cook & sometimes would bring the staff dinner. He was a very good cook. Seems to me Victoria might be Sandi's doberman or maybe she couldn't be that old. Sy was friendly & generous & had no patience with lazy people. He was lucky at gambling & knew "when to fold 'em". Whenever he said he wanted to go to heaven I would tease him & say "What makes you think you are going there?" & we would have a chuckle. Sy lived on his own terms. I enjoyed talking to him & often wondered where he went after Sarcee. He was proud of his girls so I liked to get him talking about them. He used to enjoy his visits to WaterValley. I tried to get him in touch with his brother in South Africa & encouraged him to go visit him. Just thought I'd let you know I liked your Dad. Take care. Mildred
