Condolences
Susan, Peter, Bob and Family; May the Lord comfort and support you in this time of great loss! I will always remember Phyllis as a kind, warm hearted lady, who adored her family. In 1974 i met Phyllis in the elevator of the Mobil Oil Building where we both worked (she for CNRL, and I for Mobil). She quickly recognized me as an undernourished, lonely, new Calgarian. In short order your Mom had befriended me, introduced me to you, Peter, and added me to her "having over for dinner with us" list. I have very pleasant memories of those meals, and my games of squash with Peter, that often followed those dinners. Unfortunately, by the late 70s and early 80s I was struggling with a new job and growing family; Peter had moved away from Calgary, and my contact with both he and Phyllis was much less frequent. The late 80s, 90s and 00s saw me working out of country and I rarely saw your Mom. But when I did it was always a pleasant time, filled with warmth and family news. I too will miss her! I.
