Obituary of Julie Louise MacDIARMID

Julie MacDiarmid, of Calgary passed away on January 28, 2011. She was born on December 27, 1953 in Brampton, ON, the daughter of Ted and Nancy Potticary. Julie received a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo and a M.S.W. from Wilfred Laurier University. Julie worked for many years in the oil and gas industry, and was very active in the community volunteering for a number of organizations throughout her life. She was an avid animal lover and was most happy when riding horses or spending time with her dogs. Julie is survived by her son Connor Elekes of Calgary; and her brother Doug Potticary of Toronto.
