Obituary of Olive Hilda KISSINGER

Olive Kissinger of Calgary, passed away on June 10, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Olive was born in Olds, Alberta. She married John Kissinger and settled in Bowness where they raised their family. Olive had been active as a long-time member of the Foothills United Church and the Bowness Seniors Club. She enjoyed singing in both the church choir and the Seniors sing-a-long group. After her quick recovery from an operation in January, Olive loved resuming her weekly activities and dinners out with the girls. Olive is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Doug Fraser; sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Beverley Kissinger and Jerry Kissinger; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; her brother, Jack (Bernie) Simpson and several nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by her husband John on June 9, 2004, and her brother Walter.
