My deepest condolences to the family of Chef Jack. I was not lucky enough to have experience Chef Jack as an instructor when I was a student but he always shared a smile in the kitchen. I did get to know him when I started at SAIT as an instructor and he was so welcoming and went out of hisway to make me part of the team. Jack really made a point to offer help and expressed that his door was always open to me for help and assistence. You will be missed Jack. My thoughts are with your family.
Our heartfelt Thank-you's for everyone that has supported us in so many different ways. To see the faces and condolence notes, of people who have touched Jacks life and in turn touched and shaped ours and everyone we meet continues, because we have been touched. My sincerest Thank-you's for sharing, Carol Dubnewick
My condolences to the family and close friends of Jack. Jack was my instructor for two classes back in 1999/2000. He was truly one of my favorite instructors in the program. He was a great guy and I am really sorry to hear of his passing.
Dear Carol. I was so sorry to hear of your loss and extend my heartfelt condolences to you. I worked under your tutelage at Tupperware briefly in the early 90's when my youngest was a baby. I thought of you and Jack in the recent months when that baby became a baking student at SAIT.
My thoughts go out to Chef Jack's family. Chef Jack taught me about 12 years ago at SAIT and one of the lessons that stands out in my mind was learning how to debone a chicken and then stuff it back into its true form -- an amazing challenge. He was a passionate instructor that students enjoyed and I know he'll be missed.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss.
Jack was both a colleague and a friend. He loved to tease others and enjoyed a good laugh[usually at his own expense] Jack was admired and respected by students, staff and faculty alike. Jack was one of those instructors that made you appreciate a life well lived...and that he did. Bless you my friend...you will be missed.
Very sad to hear of Chef Jack's passing, he was a true teacher who was a great role model for so many. Jack was my first Culinary teacher who left a great impression on a nervous first year student about how a chef should act and treat others. His influence was not forgotten! Marty Carpenter CCC
