Obituary of Ann Marie "Jackie" DERBY

Jackie Derby, beloved wife of Ken Derby, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Jackie was born in Kingston, Ontario the 14th child of 16 children. A caring and loving woman, Jackie always had a passion for life and the outdoors. She was a woman who loved a good time and knew how to make life a party. After standing up to cancer for three years Jackie finally found peace. Deeply loved by all of those whose life she influenced, she will be profoundly missed as a person who always brought joy to those around her. At her request no funeral services will be held. Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Ken; son, Brett Plumridge and daughter in-law, Michele; grandson, Thomas; Stepdaughter, Shannon Hulley; Stepsons, Russell Derby and Mark Derby, and their families; and three sisters Anita, Duane and Bernice. She was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters.
