Obituary of Patricia Helene COYLE

Patricia Coyle of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the age of 86 years at the Bethany Care Centre after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers that may have robbed her mind but never defeated her spirit. She was the beloved wife of Peter Coyle, who pre-deceased her in 2004. Born in Toronto, Aug. 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Walter and Emily Thorpe, Patricia had resided in Calgary since 1946 after spending her youth in England. She was a proud veteran, having served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in London during WWII. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and friend, and leaves behind a great legacy of love and values that will live on through her family. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Love and her children, Sean and Heather, and her son John Coyle, his wife Megu and children Celine and Oliver. At Patricias request there will be no funeral service. Interment will be at a later date at Edenbrook Memorial Gardens in Calgary.
