I send my condolences to you at the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and friend. Yong was my friend here in Waterloo where we played badminton together, attended some Humanist events, walked trails and always found things to talk about. I respected him for his fortitude in taking care with his health as he was fighting his illness; for the courage of standing firm in his beliefs even when he knew it was disappointing to many others; and for being a loyal friend who stayed in my mind long after his move west and his e-mails ended. It was nice to read of all his many accomplishments, which knowing him, were not surprising. He did not talk about himself much but it was evident he was a thoughtful caring person. He surely left you with a lifetime of good memories to hold dear. I wish you peace. Barb Kempe
