Alex and my dad Ray Goldsmith worked side by side for many years at Standard Brands. Alex was a great friend to my dad and mom. We always admired his ingenuity,his gentle ways, and his caring for others. As a child, I was always excited to see Mr. Brodie as he always made time for me and made me feel special. I'm hoping Alex and Ray (passed away Dec 11 2010)are having a great visit together.Heartfelt condolences to Alex's family.

I am the Gardener at Millrise Place. I got to know Alex really well as he would come outside everyday after lunch for a walk or to sit and bask in the sun. He helped me plant the flowers in the pots this past spring. He was a true gentlemen. A genuine person who left a real lasting impression on me. I will miss him so very much next spring.
