Obituary of Grace Bernardine BEREZOWSKI

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Gracie in Calgary Alberta on November 13, 2010. Born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad; Gracie was the second youngest of eleven children. She moved to Canada where she met and married Allan and they had three children; Suzette (Rodger), Darren (Marynna) and Brent (Pam). Grace was blessed with two grandchildren from each of the couples: Evan and Ben, Dana Jane and Matthew, Chloe and Payton. Gracie never lost her love for her Caribbean roots and continued to enjoy calypso music and dancing. Her love of people, generous nature and her spirited personality was infectious to all who met her. Gracie, you will not be forgotten, as you have positively impacted those of us who remain. We can truly say that we are better people because you have Graced this Earth. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lukes Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Saturday November 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. A Tribute and Celebration Reception For a life well lived, was held at Banff Trail Community Centre, 2115 20th Ave N.W. later that day at 1:00 p.m.
