Condolences
What a wonderful spirit Doshie was. I have very fond memories of Christmas Eve at the MacKimmie's gracious home in Mount Royal. Doshie's memory was pretty exemplary. Even though I haven't lived in Calgary for decades, she would still remember me whenever I saw her at Staywell Manor. I hope there's more than chocolate milk for her to enjoy in heaven! Warm regards to the many families that will miss her, Karen Christie
To the MacKimmie and Stanfield families, Our parents were from an incredible generation! Doshie epitomized their energy, optimism, fun and great attitude. They could make anything happen! We are fortunate to have been raised by them. Many wonderful memories with Christmas Eve at the MacKimmies one of the best! It is always sad when one of them leaves us however we can only imagine what's happening on the other side. You are all in our thoughts, warm regards, Mary and Liam Christie
Doshie was a dear friend for many years and a spark in our lives! The obituary said it all especially hearing about her long held secret being recruited by the National Research Council! Janet, I was touched by your sweet note when Leonard died. Doshie was loved by all of us and we send our love and sympathy to the family. Grace McMurray
We were very sorry to read of Doshie's passing and would like you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. We have many fond memories of our times with Doshie and Ross from Ross' association with Alberta & Southern, Alberta Natural Gas and the PG&E group; both in Calgary and San Francisco. A true lady in every respect, although with her own sense of humour; she indeed had a life well spent. Joan and Gary Homer
