Obituary of Ella Marie Berrington

Ella, beloved wife of Arnold Berrington, of Calgary passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2019 following a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family. Ella left peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends after a year-long struggle with leukemia. Ella was a beautiful person, the best of all of us, and she will be dearly missed. Ella was born in Prince Rupert BC and settled eventually in Calgary Alberta in 1968. Ella returned to school at the age of 40 and received a degree from Mount Royal University in Social Work, became the Director of Bowmont Association. Ella was involved with many Boards in the Calgary area and was well known and respected in her field. Ella leaves behind her husband, Arnold Berrington ; two sons Terry Berrington, Lance Berrington (Kim), daughter Lana Berrington; daughter-in-law Carol Berrington; grandson Myles Berrington (Sasha); grand-daughters Jessie Berrington and Julie Shepherd (Cam); best friend Sharon Brodeur and family.
