Obituary of Clare Roberta Thomson

Clare Roberta Thomson, beloved wife of the Late Kirk Wright Thomson of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Clare had a long-lasting, fulfilling career as an Elementary School Teacher. Her last teaching position was working at the same school her grandchildren would later attend. Clare was passionate about walking at Edworthy Dog Park with Kelly, Candy, Butch, Spook, Bonnie, Sarah, Susie, Katie, Lucy and Molly throughout her life, and also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Clare’s most memorable vacation was when she was able to take her family to Disney Land twice and a trip to Disney World in-between. She would later take her two best friends to Disney World to experience the magic for their 75th birthdays. Clare is survived by her son Michael (Heather), her grandchildren Eric, Jason, Alicia and Kyle; as well as numerous cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Kirk Wright, her son Brian Kirk, and her parents George and Lydia Crawford. A Celebration of Clare’s Life will be held at a later date.
