Obituary of Elizabeth Campbell Robinson

Elizabeth (Betty) passed away at Foothills Medical Centre Calgary, AB on Sunday March 29, 2020 at the age of 73 years. Betty, born in Quesnel, BC, spent most of her formative years in Vancouver, BC. Betty graduated from the Royal Jubilee Hospital School of Nursing in Victoria, BC as a Registered Nurse in 1968. Betty began her nursing career working in Burnaby, BC then moving to Whitehorse and finally settling in Dawson Creek, BC where she met and married David in 1971. Moving to Calgary with David in 1974, Betty continued her nursing career working as a dedicated nurse for 47 years until retiring in 2015. Betty loved enjoying time with family and friends as well as a passion for cooking and gardening. One of her most favourite activities was spending time with her little dog Ernie. Betty will be remembered for her practical nature, sense of humour and willingness to lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed by all. Betty is survived by her loving husband and best friend David; sisters, Kathleen Harold of Mission, BC, Anne Haigh of Nelson, BC and brother-in-law Howard (Marylou) of Maple Ridge, BC as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Hughina. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public memorial service.
