Condolences
My condolences to John's family for their loss. I had the pleasure to work with John on several geologic projects in Calgary and in the Philippines. He was very knowledgeable on so many things and could carry a conversation on many topics. I very much enjoyed his company and will miss him.
Dear Twyman Family; We were so sad to learn of our friend and neighbour, John has passed away recently. We send our deepest condolences to Geoffrey, Nicholas and Kristina and their family for their loss. John always had a ready and sincere smile and a good word and a story or two for the day. We all will miss his kind, intelligent and gentlemanly ways. With our deepest sympathies, Allan & Patricia Mar and families of Geoff, Bryan and John
My condolences to you John's family at your loss. I worked with John at Elf Oil in 1975. He was the one who was the most inspiring in my career. He mentored me as a young geologist and ignited my creative side and love for geology that exits to this day. He was a kind and gentle who I will aways remember. May he Rest In Peace.
Please accept my condolences for the loss of John. We had spent many years working together and as guests in our homes. I will always remember the great times spent with John and Marion in Calgary and at the coast.
I worked with John in Libya. We called him "The Kabir" which in Arabic, Kabir means big as he was our team leader. A nice man to work for with a gentle disposition and well read. I enjoyed his stories about everything. RIP
Geoff, I am so sorry for the passing of your dad and mom within such a short time within each other. I have no words to comfort you in this time, please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. May you feel the angels wings wrapped around you and give you some comfort and peace.
It is with sadness we read of John's death, and thank you, Kristina, for phoning us later in the day. Marion & John were often guests at our dinners & parties, always adding to the conversation and joie de vivre of the occasion. John loved the social whirl, and he glowed when he was in the midst of the party. We will miss him. John had a long life, many years with his wife Marion, and all their years with his three children. A fortunate life, I think we'd all agree.
