Obituary of Constance " Connie" Helen Labicane

December 30, 1925 - March 21, 2021 Constance Helen Labicane (nee Oswald), of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Constance spent her formative years in Selkirk, Scotland, Armenia Columbia, South America and West Vancouver, BC Canada. She attended the Vancouver General Hospital School of nursing and Duffus Business School. Constance came to Calgary in 1950 and was employed with Shell Oil Company. Constance was a charter and founding member of Lakeview United Church and a long-time resident of the Lakeview Community. Constance lived a happy productive life graced by lifelong friends and many happy retirement years in the Southern United States. Her family would like to extend their gratitude to Garrison Green United Active Community Living for their graciousness and kindness caring for mom. Connie will be forever remembered by her loving children; Robert (Susan), Elspeth (Chad); and precious grandchildren, Max and Nolan. Constance also leaves behind many relatives in Scotland. She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ted), parents, John and Helen Oswald, a brother John and a nephew Jock. There will be a private family remembrance service at a later date.
