Obituary of Gerhard Arthur Nitsch

NITSCH – Gerhard Arthur September 11, 1928 – Berlin, Germany March 29, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta Gerhard passed away peacefully on March 29, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Gerhard enjoyed his many years as a member of the German Canadian Club in Calgary, playing skat and dancing. He was proud of his European heritage and resided in Bowness, Calgary since 1954. He enjoyed riding his scooter to visit his great-grandchildren down the street. He will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. Gerhard will be lovingly remembered by his children, Doris, Allan (Patti), Lorraine and Steven (Susan); six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous family and friends. Gerhard was predeceased by his wife, Vera, in 2004. A Celebration of Life will be held later in 2021.
