Obituary of Karolina Barbara MIKOLAJCZYK

MIKOLAJCZYK – Karolina Barbara (nee Koniak) July 5, 1960 – Jelenia Gora, Poland May 2, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta Karolina Mikolajczyk beloved wife of Jack Mikolajczyk of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Karolina was born in Jelenia Gora, Poland on July 5, 1960. In 1981, she married the love of her life. She and Jack immigrated to Canada in December 1989. Karolina was a passionate worker and was dedicated to serving people. She worked for Calgary Coop for 25 years. Karolina enjoyed the outdoors, and always found happiness in exploring new places. Her fondest memories were made on family vacations and road trips with her husband. Her other passion included cooking, in which she was always happy to serve her family and friends. Karolina loved reading in her spare time and was always learning about the world. Karolina was extremely dedicated to her family, and always made time for them - her door was always open. She took joy in helping her grandchildren thrive and made sacrifices every day for their happiness. She was always playful and made endless crafts with them. She loved to give gifts. Besides her loving husband, Karolina is survived by her two daughters, Marta Burlak and Aleksandra Mikolajczyk; one son, Sebastian Mikolajczyk; three grandchildren, Annabelle Barrie, Evan Barrie, Vanessa Burlak. Karolina is also survived by her mother, Wladyslawa Koniak; as well as her two brothers, Andrew Koniak and Henrich Koniak. Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Peace Polish Catholic Church on May 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at 3:00 pm. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
