Condolences
Dear Evelyn and Sabina and your families. Our deepest condolences for your loss. Aunt Lydia was a wonderful, kind and generous soul. In my younger years, I remember fun family gatherings at her house. She was always a great cook! She had a room with toys for the kids to play with while the adults visited. Splashing in pool in the backyard with the bubble on it. Eating fresh picked raspberries from her raspberry patch. She gave me etiquette lessons when I stayed with them one time while my parents were away. I also remember going to her place after school for milk and fresh made cookies. After she moved into her apartment, she would join us for family gatherings at my mom's and occasionally my home as well. She also treated us to dinners at her favourite restaurant across from her apartment. They knew her very well there! She celebrated her 80th birthday there. with all of her family and friends filling up the restaurant! Aunt Lydia always remembered birthdays and holidays and would send my children birthday cards and little gifts. She had impeccable beautiful hand writing! They will all miss her dearly. I'm so glad they had her in their lives as a Great, Great Aunty. I hope that knowing she is at peace brings you comfort. She will be truly missed and fondly remembered. With love, Ginger, Andreas, Max, Anna and Fred
