Obituary of Gladys Ferrell

Gladys Ferrell of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 88 years. Gladys was born in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan on September 13, 1932. She moved to British Columbia after she married Hugh Bertram (Bert) Ferrell on September 3, 1953. She was a member of the church choir and Sweet Adeline’s International Organization of women singers. Gladys loved to sing. Gladys is survived by her two daughters and two sons-in-law, Darcey Ferrell and Rene, Latouque, Quebec, and Norine Ferrell and Rick, Edmonton, Alberta, and her sister Florence Heintz, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Bert Ferrell, mother, Freida Cormack, daughter Tammy Ferrell, and her sister Evelyn Peters.
