Val Peschke (nee Long), of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the age of 75 years.

Val was born in Souris, Manitoba on March 11, 1947. She moved to the Okanagan valley in 1968 and eventually to Airdrie in 2001, and married Allan in 2001.

She worked as a supervisor and union rep for B.C. Tel (Telus) and she accomplished much through her life. She was particularly proud of the family she created. She will be most remembered for her passion and devotion to the people (pets) and ideals she loved most!

Val is survived by son and daughter-in-law Scott and Michelle Hutchinson of Calgary, daughter and son-in-law Kim and Lorne Kemp of Calgary, and four grandchildren, Tyler (Leigha) Kemp, Sydney Kemp, Colton Hutchinson, and Dawson Hutchinson all of Calgary. She is also survived by her sister Barb Oates of Souris, MB, close friend Andreas and her dog Tandy.  Val was predeceased by her husband Allan Peschke.
