February 15, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta


With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ron Schuhknecht on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the age of 85 years.


Ron was a Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Professional Engineers of Calgary.


Ron is survived by his wife Marilyn, sister Carol, sons, Doug, Matt (Selena), Andy (Robin), Greg (Jen), Peter, and David; daughter Pegi (Don), eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Ron was predeceased by his mother Lucille, father Albert, brother Dean, and daughters-in-law, Robin, and Heidi.


A Funeral Service will be held  at Westminster Presbyterian Church (290 Edgepark Boulevard N.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Schuhknecht's service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.



The family of Ron Schuhknecht would like to thank all those who attended his service and those who sent flowers, their support and love during this time has been greatly appreciated.
