Obituary of Jean Boudreau

February 10, 1940 – Campbellton, New Brunswick

February 16, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Jean Boudreau (nee Richard), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the age of 83 years.

Jean was always a great protector of her children and always wanted the best for them. She had loved to be the one to host Christmas holidays for her family to celebrate being together and have all her loved ones around which filled her heart with joy.

Her one and only celebrity love was for Vince Gill; and how she new all the words and had the biggest smile on her face when even hearing his name. Jean had a major hobby for watching soap opera’s and was always first to get in line to meet them when they came to town.

The memories and hobbies are endless but most of all, her heart for her family and friends is forever.

Jean is survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Elaine (John), Diane (Kim), Joanne (Paul), Jane (Don) and Therese; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy, Denis, Gord Jr. (Tammy); sixteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Jean was predeceased by her parents Placide and Marie Francis Richard, and her daughter Denise.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00PM.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Boudreau’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
