Obituary of Gerald Cramm

Gerald Cramm, beloved husband of Margaret Cramm (nee Gunning), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Gerry was born in Heart’s Content, NL, on Friday, April 13, 1934. He joined the service for five years, where he met his wife, Margaret. Together they lived in Montreal and Ottawa, where they raised six children. Gerry spent his entire career in the electronics industry. Eventually, Gerry and Margaret moved west to settle in Calgary, AB.

Gerry will be remembered by his wife Margaret of 68 years, six children, Randy (Tina), Greg (Janet), Debbie (Cindy), Janet (Sandra), Russ (Robbin), and Kim McCrea; five grandchildren, Michael (Deanna), Shea (Bryan), Josh (Ally), John, and Megan (Kimm); and great-grandchildren, Avery Cramm, and Finn Sperbeck. Gerry is also survived by a special cousin Betty and John Christensen; sister-in-law, Lynda Proctor; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Bertram and Evelyn (nee Legge) Cramm, brothers, Ralph (Hilda), Douglas, and Mark (Verna); sister Phyllis Snow; and nephew Mark McCrea.
