Obituary of Yvonne Shirley-Ann Pavan
May 27, 1972 - February 17, 2023

Yvonne Pavan (nee Wittal), beloved wife of Greg Pavan, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the age of 50 years.
Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Greg Pavan, daughter Brenna, son Ian, her mother Elaine, sister Leslie (Kieth), brother Dwight (Elizabeth), brothers-in-law Dave (Kathy), Bob (Trudy) and Scott (Natalia), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss her dearly.
Yvonne was predeceased by her father Richard “Rick”, grandfathers Al and Doug, grandmother Shirley, and aunties Cathy and Karen.
Yvonne was born in Calgary, AB, on May 27, 1972. Throughout her life she enjoyed a good book, camping trips, and travelling places with interesting people and most importantly warm weather. She was an accomplished baseball player and horse wrangler, happy to spend her days out at the stables or in the saddle. Yvonne was always ready to take in and care for any stray she could find, be it a dog, cat, horse, or human, and so kept a home full of life and happy chaos.
She will be most remembered for her fierce devotion to her family, sense of humour, encyclopedic history knowledge, and zest for adventure.
A Celebration of Yvonne’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
