Sherry, Darlene & Family:
My sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad, Great memories of him and your Mum over the years when Bob & I went to golf tournaments in rural Alberta with them and, of course, our Annual Tournament in BC. Also got together with them in AZ and Hawaii. Although I couldn't attend in person, I was able to watch his service from Australia this morning.

My deepest condolences to Alex’s family. Worked with Alex at Alberta Wheat Pool and always enjoyed his great sense of humour.
Deepest sympathy to Alex's family. Worked with Alex for several years and really enjoyed my time with him at the Alberta Wheat Pool. He was a very caring, helpful, honest and fun loving boss. A great mentor that made everyday worth while to come to work.
May he R.I.P.

Darlene & Family:
We were sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I had many great conversations with him in these last years, and he was always so upbeat even though he knew he had some pretty demanding health issues. His biggest wish which was granted to him was to celebrate his 90th birthday in style. You all made him so proud of the party that you organized for him. He said he had a wonderful time, and he was thrilled to pieces with it all.
Working with your Dad at the Alberta Wheat Pool was always fun. We were all like a family there, and not a day went by without your Dad making us all laugh about something.
Please know that we are thinking of you all, and knowing you will miss having him close by.
With our Deepest Sympathy,
Marjorie & Don Sharp
I really enjoyed my time with Alex. Along with Lou Kappelhoff and Jim Tateishi, he was one of my "Three Amigos" during the many years we golfed together at Country Hills. Alex was a very caring, giving and compassionate gentleman. Unfortunately, because of Covid, we were unable to get together for coffee as often as we would have liked. We continued to chat on the phone on a regular basis and he always said "hi to Linda". Sadly, I knew something was wrong when he didn't respond to my phone messages. Linda and I send our thoughts and prayers to to all who loved Alex. He was a special person and will be missed.
