Obituary of Feodora Tereza Pommerehnke

Feodora Teresa Pommerehnke (neé Mattos) of Calgary, passed away February 19th 2023, on the afternoon of her 76th birthday.

Feodora was a devoted Catholic and a talented pianist. She leaves behind many cherished memories of her piano playing for family, friends, and church alike.

Feodora is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harald Pommerehnke; her children Charlene and Jacqueline; grandchildren Raven and Tabitha; and great-grandchildren, Soren, Lily, Layla, and Esme. She is also survived by her three sisters, Deotilla, Blanca, and Cezina, and her brother Frederich. She is predeceased by her brothers, Benito (Sr) and Benito Valetino; and her parents, Estevan Francis Xavier Mattos and Maria Lucinda D' Costa Mattos.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Pommerehnke’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
