One of the highlights in my life was when I was old enough to finally call Mr. Redmond Cork. Hearing him laugh with his patented "fff fff fff fff" while having a grin when I called him Cork topped it off. Mr. Redmond and Arl were like second parents to me. He did not hesitate to take me in when I had no place to live in Calgary while I was finding my own way. I will be forever grateful. It didn't matter what time I would come "home", Mr. Redmond would always wait up for me in the kitchen to catch up on my daily activities. Rest in peace. Say hi to Arl for me and have a beer (or two) with my dad!
