Obituary of Darcy Kenneth Beierle

May 15, 1966 – Calgary, Alberta

February 25, 2023 – Rocky View, Alberta

Darcy Beierle, a cherished husband, father, grandpa, son, and brother passed away at the young age of 56 years, on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Darcy was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on May 15, 1966, to mother Fern and father Kenneth Beierle. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend to all who knew him. Darcy will always be remembered for his generosity, unmatched work ethic, and witty commentary. He was a rare type of person who most people would not have the privilege to meet in a lifetime. He was known for his incredible ability to problem solve and having all the tools in his shop to help you fix it, even if it was just a coffee and chat.

When Darcy was not in his shop, he could be found driving around in something green (anything John Deere). Summer was his favourite season, tending to the farm, cutting the grass, making it impossible to be greener on the other side. He loved spending time with his growing family and hosting gatherings, with more food and drinks than his loved ones could even enjoy. Only Darcy would buy a whole pig to roast for the neighbourhood!

Darcy spent 39 years of his life with his high school sweetheart Tina, they were coming up to their 30th wedding anniversary. Darcy’s every action was dedicated to his family, serving as a cornerstone of their fortitude. He was such a hard worker, he even found a way to work on vacation, bringing his family to Maui, and forging new friendships that eventually grew into a second family.

Darcy was known for the strength he generously shared with others and instilled in his family. Accomplishments achieved by his family are a direct reflection of the encouragement he provided. Darcy will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.

Darcy is survived by his wife Tina Bierele, daughters, Kim (Chris) Williamson, Megan (Cameron) McPeak, and Rheanne (Alexander) Beierle; grandchildren, Paige, Georgia, and Maeve; mother Fern, sister Roxane (Bryan) Ebbesen, business partner/dog Mila, and extended family including the Kovalskys and McPeaks.

A Memorial Service for Darcy will be held at The Livingston Hub (1248 Livingston Way NE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Darcy’s family invites all who knew him to attend and share their memories of him.
