Obituary of Donna Maureen Curry
CURRY, Donna Maureen (nee Quesnel)
September 20, 1953 -Winnipeg, Manitoba
February 28, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta
Donna Curry beloved wife of Patrick Curry of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of 69 years.
Along with her loving husband of 50 years, Donna leaves behind her four boys, Gregory (Amber), Ryan, Michael (Alicia), and Matthew (Rae); her adored grandsons, Sebastian, and Eli; three brothers, Frank (Judy), Bruce (Marlene), and Brent (Shirley); four nieces, Angela, Denise, Stephanie, and Mandy; and nephew David. She will also be missed by her close friend, Gill, who was like a sister.
Donna was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and moved to Calgary in 1980. She worked at the Rockyview Hospital for 24 years and was a union representative for AUPE. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed family get-togethers, and her trips to BC every year to visit friends and family. Donna was the anchor of the Curry family. She was an incredible person with an infectious laugh and good sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her husband and many friends and extended family. Donna's warm and loving spirit will not be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
