Condolences
My deep sympathy to Betty's family and her dear friends. I remember Betty from church as a kind, caring, and humble woman with a strong faith. She was one of those people who just lived their lives not knowing how wonderful they were. She made a difference. I wonder if she knew how much of an impact she had on so many lives. Rest in deep peace and great joy, Betty.
Betty was a very kind, accomplished woman who was dedicated to her family, church and community. She will be greatly missed by all who touched her life.
Betty was a woman of wisdom and tremendous caring who made such a difference in the lives of many, especially those most vulnerable. You could always count on her to quietly work in the background on behalf of her family, her friends, her church and community at large to improve the quality of life for others.
In recent years as her health failed, Betty was able to continue to keep in touch with family and friends through phone calls and visits in her home, with the assistance of her family. Many blessings were received by those fortunate enough to have known Betty and call her a friend. We will miss Betty’s wisdom, caring gestures, loving spirit, quiet giggle and twinkle in her eye.
Our sincere condolences to all of Betty’s family as they mourn the loss of such a special individual. Her legacy will continue to live on through all of them.

Many condolences for the family's loss. As a childhood friend of the family, I appreciated the love and support the family had for each other, and Betty's and Duke's strong sense of service and community support for the family's wider circle of friends, neighbours and colleagues. Sending love and positive thoughts to all. Linda Campbell
Andy and I knew and loved Betty and her husband Duke as fellow congregants at Red Deer Lake United Church. Betty was very active there and I worked with her in Congregational Care and discussed many meaningful issues with her in Bible Study. We shared good times of great fellowship. At her husband Duke's funeral, we saw the strength and support this entire wonderful family gave one another. And we see it again now, with Betty's passing. She was a kind and giving person always and such a sweet spirit! She will be much missed. We feel honoured to call her our friend and are happy she suffers no more and is now with God.
